1. Presence of Bat Droppings (Guano)

Small, dark pellet-like droppings around walls, ceilings, attics, or roof spaces are the most common sign of bats. Guano often piles up below entry points or roosting areas.

2. Strong, Musty or Ammonia-Like Odor

Bats produce a strong smell caused by accumulated droppings and urine. The odor becomes stronger in closed spaces like rooftops and ceilings.
